Basis = the amount actually paid, excluding VAT (net actual). On top of that you get your share of the seller’s sales fees — which grows as their revenue grows.
All figures are illustrative, per referred customer and not a guarantee of earnings — what you make depends on how many customers you refer and how long they stay. Commissions are income you must tax yourself; settlement by self-billing credit note requires that you act as a business, not a private individual.

Partner terms
This English text is a convenience translation. The legally binding version is the German one (Terms § 16).
Commission
25% (tier 1) of the net platform revenue from every paying seller account you refer, recurring for as long as that customer pays ("lifetime"). Plus 5% (tier 2) for the person who referred you. This programme never has more than two tiers. The partner terms apply (#/legal/partner). The basis is always the amount actually paid, less VAT and after discounts (net actual), never the list price. Commission arises solely from real payments by referred customers, never for merely recruiting further partners.
Settlement by self-billing credit note
Settlement is exclusively by self-billing credit note (§ 14 (2) sentence 5 of the German VAT Act): we issue a credit note for every payout, and you do not issue invoices yourself. The credit note is delivered electronically and you may object to it. This requires complete tax details (name/company, address, tax status, tax number or VAT ID) in the partner portal — whichever of these applies in your country.
Payout & hold period
Payouts start at €50 of credit and no earlier than 30 days after month end. On refunds, chargebacks or failed payments the corresponding commission is reversed (clawback), where applicable by offsetting against future commission.
No self-referral
Referring yourself is prohibited: no commission arises for your own accounts, accounts sharing your payment details, or otherwise economically identical accounts. Manipulation (faked clicks or accounts) leads to exclusion.
Label ads, prohibited methods
You clearly label every ad for Merchavio as an ad. Prohibited, among others: ads on the name “Merchavio”, look-alike domains and accounts, spam, forced clicks, browser extensions, coupon codes we have not issued to you, and income promises. Violations lead, step by step, up to exclusion and repayment of commission (partner terms sections 5 to 7).
Grandfathering
If we change rates or conditions, the change applies only to customers referred after it. For customers you already referred, the conditions promised at the time of referral remain in place permanently.
