merchavio is an intermediary platform and a hosting service within the meaning of the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065). Unless expressly labelled as a “MERCHAVIO” product, products on storefronts and in the marketplace are offered by independent sellers. The contracting party of a purchase is the respective seller.
Sellers are responsible for the content they provide via the platform. We do not adopt this content as our own and do not generally monitor it. We remove illegal content once we become aware of it, as part of our notice and action procedure.
Where our marketplace allows consumers to conclude distance contracts with sellers, we collect the information required by law (including name/company, address, contact details and, where applicable, trade register number and tax/VAT identification number) before activating a business seller, and make reasonable efforts to check its plausibility. The seller must keep this information correct and up to date.
We strive to make the platform accessible. As a microenterprise within the meaning of Recommendation 2003/361/EC, exemptions from the service obligations under the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) may apply to us. You can report barriers to the point of contact above at any time.
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
