Analytics: overview and guides
Store analytics for digital products: revenue, visitors and subscriptions
Good store analytics for digital products answer three questions: how much did you sell, where did buyers come from and how are your subscriptions doing? Merchavio calculates this from your real orders and its own visitor count.

What Analytics shows
Analytics has seven tabs: Overview (revenue, orders, refunds, channels, top products), Live (visitors right now), Traffic (views, visitors, conversion, referrers), Reports, Products, Retention and Subscriptions. For overview, traffic and products you choose the period at the top: Today, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 12 months or Custom.
Merchavio counts visitors itself; no third-party tracking code is loaded in your store. A visitor counts as a person only if they agreed to the statistics in the cookie notice, otherwise only the page view is counted. The country comes from the network connection, no IP address is stored. Your own visits while logged in are not counted.
What you can do in Analytics
- Revenue, orders, average order value and refund rate per period
- Comparison with the previous period
- Revenue by sales channel and top products
- Visitors right now, active carts and sales in the last hour
- Views, visitors, conversion and referrers
- Reports with CSV export
- Pause, resume, cancel or reactivate subscriptions

Do I need Google Analytics for my store?
No. Merchavio counts store views and visitors itself and shows them under Analytics; no third-party tracking code is loaded in your store for this.
Why are there fewer visitors than page views?
Every page view is counted. A visitor is only recognised as the same person across pages if they agreed to the statistics in the cookie notice. Without consent, the views still count, but not as visitors.
Which analytics are included in every plan?
Overview, live visitors, traffic, reports, products and the subscription list with all actions. MRR movement, the churn trend and retention cohorts are included from Growth.
